Hayden Christensen is a 35 years old, Canadian-American actor and producer who was born to David Christensen, a Canadian computer programmer and Alie, an American speechwriter. During his time in high school, he played hockey and tennis at the provincial level. Later, he went to Actor Studio in New York City as well as Arts York program for drama at the prestigious Unionville High School.
In 1993, he made his debut appearance with a television series Macht De Leidenschaft/Family Passions, in which he played a supporting role. The following year, he appeared in uncredited role in In the Mouth of Madness.
His first breakthrough role came when he was cast as Sam Monroe in Life as a House, which earned him several awards, including Golden Globe and SAG nominations. He is also known for his appearance as Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and its sequel Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.
